Section I: Creating a Stable
After registering at UESN, you can create yourself a stable. A stable is needed to create horses.
One member can have a maximum of three (3) stables.
The first stable is free and can be created right after registering at UESN. Each additional stable costs 100,000$ of the on site currency.
To create a stable, click the ‘Create a Stable’ Button you can find under your account. Fill in the stable’s name, prefix, type and other information and hit the create button!
Stable Types are for roleplay only.
IMPORTANT: You may not copy "famous" stable names or prefixes/suffixes. Once the main site is up, you can check what stable names and prefixes/suffixes are already taken.
Section II: Certificates
In order to create a horse, a certificate is needed. If you have none, you can´t create horses.
Each member starts with 5 Certificates
Certificates can be transferred from ‘Equus Sims Credits’
Except buying certificates from other members, another way to get certificates is to claim them each month. At the 1st of each month, a blue button will appear at your account page. If you click it, you can claim 1 certificate per stable you own for this month (= max. 3). The button will be visible for the first week of the month. When you got them, the button disappears. Next month, it will appear again. If you don´t click the button (when you are inactive for example) you don´t get certificates.
Certificates can be bought from the admin account as well. Therefore, send 10,000$ per certificate you want to the admin account in order to get the certificates added to your account. (e.g. if you want 3 Certificates, send 30,000$).
Certificates can also be sold to the admin account in order to get money. Therefore, fill out the form at the forum thread to get the money added to your account and cetificates removed. One Certificate can be sold for 5,000$.
Section III: Creating a Horse
If you have certificates, select a stable you want your horse to be created in. That way, the stables help to sort horses. Inside your stable, click the ‘Create a Horse’ Button and fill in the information of your horse. After pressing the create button, your horse is inside your stable.
Horses can be moved between stables if you go to ‘Edit Horse’ and select the stable it should be in.
A horse can have one out of three activity phases: Active (can enter shows and be used for breeding), Retired (can be only used for breeding) and Deceased (can not be shown or bred). Once retired or deceased, the horse can not become active/retired again, so use this option wisely!
Section IV: Registering a Horse
After you successfully created a horse, you can register it. This allows you to enter the horse into competitions.
Navigate to the Registry Menu at the top and select a registry
First, a horse needs to get the breed registry, so navigate to one of those
Go to ‘Register a Horse’ and sumbit a registration for for your horse! Therefore, fill in the required information such as age and provide in game screenshots of your horse
If your horse meets the breed standards, the registrar will accept the horse. You will see a number now at your horses profile. If it is not accepted, you will get a private message from the registrar at the forum telling you the reason
A horse can have a max. of two (2) breed regisration numbers
After your horse is breed registered, you can register your horse with a max. of two (2) discipline registries as well. This works after the same sheme as breed registrations
Unacceptable horses that were corrected for registration may not be switched back to the unacceptable conformation/color after the horse was accepted. Horses may not be altered after the registration. If you do and get caught, the horse will get unregistered and frozen for a certain time in which it can not be competed or bred.
The only exception to this rule is updating the horses coat with detail markings and/or give a complete coat update. The registered color may not be changed though, e.g. a chestnut can not become a bay after a coat update. Conformation may be edited with new sliders etc. but should still fit the breed standard, feel free to get in contact with registrars to make sure if you are unsure, this is not required though.
Section V: Aging
For aging, we suggest to use the ‘4 RL Months = 1 UESN Year” rule.
Foals are allowed to be aged with “1 RL Month = 1 UESN Year” to reach the competition age sooner
You age your horse by hand at the horses profile. Therefore, you go to ‘Edit Horse’ and change the number in the age field. Be careful: Age can only be adjusted upwards, not downwards. Example: A five (5) year old horse can not be moved back to 4 years of age, only upwards to 6 years.
Section VI: Riders
In order to compete at shows, you need riders to ride your horses
You can create five (5) free riders in the Riders Lounge, found at your account
To get more riders, hit the ‘Hire a Rider’ button
Fill in the information of your rider and create the rider
Hire a Rider costs 3000$
You can have unlimited riders
Section VII: Banking
The banking adds a lot of realism to the game play, but it is not needed in order to play. You can also leave this feature out completely.
Each Member starts at 75,000$
Money can be transferred from ‘Equus Sims’
You find your bank account at your account page
Money can be used to pay show fees or buy/sell horses and items on and off the forum
To send out money, go to your bank account and select the member you want to send a payment. Type in the amount and a short note and hit send!
To accept money people sent to you, go to Pending Payments and hit accept or deny
